South Australian lobby group The Land Tax Payers' Association said this weekend a move to refuse paying the South Australia's land value tax would rob the State Government of more than $100,000 in revenue, reports The Advertiser
Land Tax in Australia"The only way to beat these horrendous tax increases is not to pay the bill . . . because then they will have to stand up and take notice of us," said Mr Apap, 65, of Port Willunga.

"We know that we should pay some land tax, but we want the Premier and Deputy Premier to justify 600 per cent increases. Until then, we will not pay our bills and will urge all land tax payers not to pay it."

State Treasurer Kevin Foley said: "I'm not making any comment on land tax ahead of the May budget.

"But they (property owners) have an obligation to meet their bills and clearly it would be in everyone's interests for those bills to be settled.
