Starting next month, data collectors will begin inspecting homes in Meredith, New Hampshire, as part of a townwide revaluation.
As a result of a citizen's petition, the state Board of Land and Tax Appeals ordered the town of Meredith to complete a revaluation of the approximately 6,000 taxable properties in the community by 2007. The new values will show up on tax bills in December of 2006. Full story at the Meredith Citizen.
