Geldof and the Possibility of Progress PDF Print E-mail

On the first day of the G8 Conference, Make Poverty History champion Bob Geldof encouraged protesters and Live8 gig goers outside the Henry George Foundation's Edinburgh premises from where Land&Liberty is edited.
geldof.jpgL&L editor Peter Gibb managed to penetrate the crowd of fans, journalists and onlookers in order to give Geldof a copy of Mark Braund's book The Possibility of Progress (Shepheard-Walwyn, 2005 - available from reformers, the Henry George Foundation bookshop, at only £14.95).
